Today, we reviewed Americana from mount and went into S mount with armbar as a warmup.
Then we learned to bring the elbow to the knee on one side and find the elbow of their arm then cup it with the opposite hand and bend it down with the same side hand to do a kimura.
After that , we worked on a choke where we would bring an arm up around their head and push their opposite side arm up to their head, from here you hop over their body on the same side as the arm on their head and push the other side shoulder down into their body to choke them.
We learned that if they made a sort of telephone move with the arm on their head , we could grab it and turn it into a kimura.
Then we rolled for 15 minutes. I laid down as one of the first 4 down. I got tapped by Americana first really quickly. Then I went up against the wall and watched until I got another opponent.
I had a younger person who was pretty good, he swept me and or submitted me (hard to remember because it was fast). He gave me advice later in the rolling sessions that I should underhook from a certain position, so that was nice of him.
I was tapped out and swept 5 times or so tonight, nothing in my favor. My right knee and quad was very sore afterwards.
