We started with one person holding from behind on the ground. One arm goes over their shoulder and the other under hook their other side for a seatbelt grip. The person being gripped falls to the choking arm side then you scoot out of their leg hooks with your upper back on the ground. And bridging out of their leg holds. When perpendicular you twist around and grab the back person and hold them from side.

Next we did the same thing but just bringing the upper leg out of the leg grips and turning over and posting on the ground with the left hand or grabbing the opponent. Then twisting onto them and having half guard holding their leg down with my legs.

Next, we did the same thing but the back person would bring the bottom arm over to the neck and leave the underhook side in, as falling to the underhook side, when behind, you push them down and away and bring the outside leg over their head and make an armbar.

We then worked on submissions from the back control position. We did rear naked choke, getting the elbow down to their chest and under their chin and squeezing with hands clasped.

The rear naked with holding the bicep and putting a hand behind their head. We did a slide choke I think it is called, you put your right thumb into their collar and the elbow on their chest and as you fall to the choking side you grab the other side of their gi and you pull both of the materials down for the finish.

Then we did a bow and arrow choke where you grab the inner collar and push them down like the armbar move, but you put the right leg over their right shoulder and left leg over their abdomen , then grab their pants fabric and pull down with the collar.

At the end I rolled with one person (mouthpieces in) Cynthia is his name maybe , it was hard to understand him with the mouthguard. We grappled standing for maybe 30-40 seconds the first round. I kept trying to get lapel and sleeve grips so I could trip him , but eventually I decided to go into guard and that was a mistake against this opponent because he jumped to my side control and from there he got me into an armbar. We started a second roll but the timer ended it and that was it. I wasn’t sure what his goal was for takedown but mine was to pull him down and get full guard then try to sweep him and do americana or armbar. That was my plan, but I couldn’t get full guard. I think his grips were too high for me to bring my legs up fast enough.

I was very tired after the roll and decided one roll was enough for the night.
