4/29/2026 Thoughts on Triking this year

 4/29/2026

This write up is about how I feel about triking so far this year.

I have been having fun with Dad this Spring season so far on the trail. We mainly ride on the North West River Trail and the Low Grade Enola Trail. At first it takes a bit to get into the swing of putting our items in and bringing them out of the car. Once I get used to that, I feel a lot better and it feels seamless to just start the ride.

My legs have gotten much stronger, and my cardio has drastically improved since we started this year. I have been using the treadmill and doing jiu jitsu. So all of these things combined have been improving my mobility and health.

We get to go to the Lancaster Recumbent shop in Marietta, PA to see our friends that work there and communicate about trikes and life. I get to see the trikes being put together, which is really cool. The other day I got to see a Catrike Max , the same model I own (even the same color) , being constructed.

I want to learn more about the mechanics and engineering of trikes and the small motors attached to them. I can get a deeper understanding of the mechanics so that I can be more involved and feel more connected to the riding that I do. I really love to spend time with Dad on the trails, and if I can be more involved with that , the better!

I want to connect with other cyclists, possibly on social media. If anyone reads this and you want to connect, feel free to send us a message on social media or an email found at the bottom of this site.
