It was 80 degrees F outside. The gym felt like a sauna. Inside my gi felt like 105 degrees today when I started to sweat and heat up

Lesson: We did a knee on the thigh pin and passed to the side. Then we did a pass where we bring our right leg out and push their right leg to the side and get arm hooks in. This was important if they were guarding with their leg from our knee to their belly.
We were taught a move to push the legs to the side and from behind the legs you go between the legs and hook the bottom leg and lay on top of them and get hooks.
There was a pass from half guard with their left knee on me and if they push away with the knee you pull their leg through and pass to the left side. If they wrap up your right leg then you scoot the foot up and push their knee and pull out your foot to get side control.
Conclusion: I was exhausted, I had to take more breaks than usual. I didn’t give up and I am happy about it. When a breeze came through the gym door it was such a nice feeling. The lesson was easy but the temperature was the enemy today.
